SUPer Scary SUP Race 2020

Charleston SUP Safaris invites you to come out for a day of fun and sun as we host our 10th Annual SUPer Scary SUP race on October 31st from 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

The race categories will consist of SUP and Prone 10K, 5K, SUP kids race and a tandem dog race. Each participant, whether it be human or canine, is encouraged to come fully decked out in costume in honor of the Halloween theme, and encouraged to incorporate a mask into their costume. This is promised to be an afternoon filled with fun, adventure, and friendly competitive spirits. Winners from each race will be eligible to win a number of great prizes available.
This charity event helps support Y2O, and a portion of the proceeds go directly to help support our local youth. Awards ceremony is held at Surf Bar with free food, as well as a silent auction. Mask required both in the office and at Surf Bar. Come out and join us! Event info available on our website.

Sadly our favorite event of the year, Surfers Healing, was cancelled due to COVID-19. Each year Folly is visited by surfers from around the world as they head out on the water to teach children with autism to surf. Some of the kids are really hangin’ 10 these days! Check out this awesome video of a past event and we hope you’ll come out and join us next year for One Perfect Day.
